Overview

The aggregated view combines products from all your vendors into a single list. When multiple vendors offer the same product at different prices or in different configurations, each listing appears separately in the list. You can see all your options in one place, then compare and choose the best offer.

You can compare:

  • Price

  • Delivery time (ETA)

  • Stock availability

  • Condition (New, Refurbished, etc.)

  • Warranty coverage

  • Packaging type

  • Terms and return policy

What happens in the system

  • The aggregated view pulls live data from all vendor catalogs you have access to

  • Each listing shows the vendor name so you know which supplier offers each price

  • The same SKU may appear multiple times if multiple vendors or pricelists carry it

  • Filters apply across all vendors simultaneously

  • Sorting reorders products from all vendors together

What does NOT happen

  • No automatic price matching - StockApp does not alert vendors to competitor prices or negotiate on your behalf

  • No vendor notification - Vendors do not know you are comparing their offerings to others

  • No price history - The view shows current prices only, not historical pricing

  • No price guarantee - Prices can change between viewing and purchasing

Prerequisites

  • An active StockApp account

  • At least one vendor must have shared their catalog with you

  • Permission to view products

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access the Aggregated View

Click on the company name in the top-left corner to open the vendor selector. Then click "All StockApps – View All Items".

This combines products from all your vendors into one searchable list. The top bar shows "All StockApps" to confirm you are in the aggregated view.

Step 2: Search for a Specific Product

Use the search bar at the top of the product list.

You can search by:

  • SKU or part number (e.g., "B09B9CD1YB")

  • Product name (e.g., "Amazon Echo Dot")

  • Model number

When multiple vendors or pricelists offer the same product, you see multiple listings in the results. Each listing shows a different price, stock level, or terms.

Step 3: Compare Key Details

Each product row displays:

Product Information:

  • Product image and title

  • Vendor name (which supplier offers this listing)

  • SKU

  • Last updated time

Product Attributes:

  • Condition (New, Refurbished, etc.)

  • Packaging (Retail Box, Generic Box, etc.)

  • Warranty (type and duration)

  • Terms and returns

Pricing and Availability:

  • Price (unit price)

  • ETA (estimated delivery date and number of days)

  • Stock level (units in stock)

  • MOQ (minimum order quantity, shown when greater than 1)

Step 4: Use Filters to Narrow Options

The filter panel on the left lets you narrow results by:

  • Tags - Filter by vendor-applied labels

  • Category - Product category hierarchy

  • Price - Set a price range

  • Condition - New, Refurbished, etc.

  • Manufacturer - Filter by brand

  • Warranty - Warranty type or duration

  • Packaging - Box type

  • Terms and returns - Return policy

  • Specifications - Technical specifications

  • Location - Vendor location

  • Date - When listed

You can also use the AI filter bar at the top of the filter panel to describe the filter you want in plain text.

Step 5: Sort by Price

To find the lowest price, click the sort icon (up/down arrows) at the top-right of the product list. Select "Price (lowest first)" to reorder all products so the cheapest options appear at the top.

Step 6: Compare Product Details

Click on any product row to open the detail panel on the right side.

The detail panel shows:

  • Full product description

  • MPN, UPC, and GTIN identifiers

  • Complete specifications

  • Category, packaging, condition, warranty, terms

  • Shipping information

Click on a different product in the list to compare the detail of that listing. The panel updates to show the newly selected product.

Step 7: Take Action

Once you find the offer you want:

  • Add to cart - Click "Add to cart" to include in your order

  • Offer - Click "Offer" to negotiate price with the vendor

  • Create alert - Click the bell icon to be notified when price or stock changes

Common Issues

Issue: Same Product Shows Different Names

Symptom: The same SKU appears with different product titles from different vendors

Why it happens: Each vendor uses their own product descriptions

Solution: Search by SKU rather than product name to find exact matches

Issue: Only One Vendor Appears for a Product

Symptom: You expect multiple vendors to carry a product, but only one shows up

Possible causes:

  1. Only one of your vendors carries this product

  2. Other vendors use a different SKU for the same product

  3. Other vendors haven't shared this product with you

Solution:

  • Try searching by product name instead of SKU

  • Check if the product has alternative part numbers

Issue: Prices Vary Significantly

Symptom: The same product has very different prices from different vendors

Possible causes:

  1. Different conditions (new vs refurbished)

  2. Different warranty coverage

  3. Volume pricing or promotions

  4. Different pricelists with different markup applied

Solution: Click into product details to see the full specification of each listing. Compare condition, warranty, and packaging.

Issue: "Add to cart" is Disabled

Symptom: The "Add to cart" button is grayed out and cannot be clicked

Possible causes:

  1. The product is your own listing (you cannot buy from yourself)

  2. The quantity selector is set to 0

Solution: Check the quantity field - it must be at least 1 (or the MOQ if one is set).
